The Top of the Park

The hike: Cadillac Summit Loop Trail (1529 feet)

Location: Bar Harbor, ME

Approximate time: ~ 15 minutes

How could we not make it to not only the top of the park, but the highest point on the eastern seaboard of the U.S? Gonna be honest here, we drove to the top (make sure to reserve a parking spot ahead of time) due to time constraints, but the short loop at the top was breathtaking. Views of the whole park and beyond can be found at the top of Cadillac - apparently you can even see Mount Katahdin (which I’m definitely going to hike at some point).

If you don’t have the time or if it just makes more sense to drive up Cadillac, I’d definitely recommend it. Being at the top was amazing and will give you a whole new perspective on the area.
